cooperation with industry

InfoMus Lab through a long tradition of international research projects, has concluded contracts and promoted partnership with major industrial partners such as Intel, Nokia Research Centre, Sipra SpA, Sugar Music. Moreover InfoMus Lab encourages meetings with the world of business in order to promote scientific and technological research and to identify and plan routes to transfer emerging technologies from the research into applications and services.

Industrial Partnership

  • Contract with INTEL for the licensing of the software platform EyesWeb (conceived and developed by InfoMus Lab: www.eyesweb.org ) in new INTEL products: the project provides for the EyesWeb adoption by INTEL as a standard for their products (included in a software bundle with their hardware) and their research centers on monitoring elderly and "independent living" (2008-2009).

  • Contract with SUGAR Music SpA (since 2007).

  • Contract with SIPRA SpA (since 2000).

  • Contracts with theatres, museums and science centers in Italy and abroad.


Meetings with business

  • L´informatica al servizio dell´arte e dello spettacolo (Information technology at the service of art and entertainment) - Round Table in cooperation with the Association of Engineers, with the participation of Antonio Camurri and Alessandro Ponassi, Chairman of the Committee of the Information Technology and Engineers (26 October 2006).

  • Tecnologia, creatività, televisione e pubblicità : Sibilla - un software per prevedere gli ascolti pubblicitari. (Technology, creativity, television and advertising: Sibilla - a software to predict the ratings advertising). Workshop in collaboration with SIPRA SpA, edited by Marina Ceravolo, with the participation of the main Italian media centres. Presentation of the research, conducted at Casa Paganini - InfoMus Lab on computational models of emotions applied to forecasts television audience (27 October 2006).
