NIME (International Conference on New Interfaces for Musical Expression)
Genova, June 5 to 7. Opening concert at Casa Paganini on June 4th. NIME consists of a three full-day event where research papers, demos, and performances will be presented on the state-of-the-art concerning new interfaces for musical expression. NIME will include Workshops just before and after the main conference providing focus on special areas close to the NIME community.
NIME events will be in different places and institutions in Genoa: Casa Paganini, the Music Conservatory "Niccolò Paganini", the Museo d'arte contemporanea Villa Croce, the Casa della Musica.

4th Summer School on Sound and Music Computing
The Summer School on Sound and Music Computing (SMC) will follow the NIME 2008 Conference at Casa Paganini, with the goal of promoting interdisciplinary education and research in the field of SMC. The school will be held at Casa Paganini from 9 to 11 June 2008.

Workshop "Laboratorio di imprenditorialità" (in Italian)
Registrations for "Laboratorio di imprenditorialità: come mettersi in proprio", held by "Polo del Mediterraneo per le Arti" with the partnership of Domus Academy and Campus magazine, are open. Courses will start on April 8th under the guide of Alberto Bonisoli at Teatro Stabile, at Accademia Ligustica di Belle Arti, at Conservatorio Niccolò Paganini and at Casa Paganini (21 and 22 April).
